Northern Canada
Bryce Canyon, Utah
Hello from Utah. I am almost without words to describe this place. Crimson amphitheaters of erosion and time, everywhere, for miles and miles and miles. I send you these images to help explain. If you stand on the edge of a space so enormous to us and really absorb the reality of the world unencumbered by the limitations of humanity's existence, I swear it will bring you profound peace and joy. At least for a little while. Thinking of you. Love, Me.
Buenos Aires, Argentina
You would love it here! It's spring in Buenos Aires and people are out in the streets and the parks are filled with parrots and song birds. and museums and old beautiful, neo-classical buildings from its European ties, and cafes. Everywhere sidewalks are aging cobblestones, crumbling with time. Navigating is an artform. San Telmo is where I'm staying, an old community on the narrow edge of gentrification that hasn't quite given up its soul. My friend took me down the street where tango dancers take over the square, one night a week where dancers pair up to lose themselves to the music and the tango embrace. If you were here, we could have given it a go. I send you, also, these pictures of cats and St. Fridha from my journey so you will know I go out in the sun once in a while. Love, Me.
Portugal
Hello Beautiful, I'm traveling again! The whole of humanity seems to have discovered Portugal during the pandemic. Here with friends to soak in the colors and scramble up mountain tops to experience fantastical castles built by frivolous romantic princes, or medieval villages built into the mountain around mind blowing boulders, for the sheer act of survival. I see why the world loves this small country. Would you go there one day with me? Love, Me
